Rebecca Donato selected as Vitalize 360 Executive Director

Rebecca Donato has been named Executive Director for Vitalize 360, a joint venture between Kendal and Hebrew SeniorLife, a Harvard Medical School affiliate.

Most recently, Rebecca served as the Chief Operating Officer at Community Servings, an innovative nonprofit organization focused on providing medically tailored meals to the underserved as a health care intervention. Before that, she was Chief Operating Officer of North Hill, a Boston-based Life Plan Community, where she was part of a team charged with its repositioning.

“Rebecca comes to Vitalize 360 with a true and unique passion for creating platforms that support holistic and healthy living, and for positively impacting the well-being of those she surrounds,” Kendal President and CEO Sean Kelly said. “Rebecca will join Susan Flashner-Fineman, our wonderful Master Coach who has been part of our program from its inception.”

Vitalize 360 combines an innovative, award-winning, person-directed approach to wellness coaching with the power of information derived from a scientifically grounded assessment system. The program engages, challenges and inspires individuals to live a full, healthy, vibrant life and enables communities to demonstrate appreciable improvement in successful aging.

“What resonates deeply with me are the core values of self-direction and self-empowerment that Vitalize 360 is founded upon, and how we use the power of questions to help others unlock their own potential,” Rebecca says. “With a marketplace that is primed to reimagine the expectations of later life, the time has never been better for us as providers to leverage this platform as a very practical means for influencing a paradigm of aging that is aspirational and possibility-filled. The potential for Vitalize360 to expand and evolve is very exciting for all of us.”

Rebecca graduated from the School of Education at New York University with a bachelor’s degree in music, and she earned a master’s degree in business administration from Georgetown University. In her free time, Rebecca is a devoted student of Ashtanga Yoga and is currently studying to become an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, both of which express her deep personal commitment to practicing and sharing natural health and healing modalities.

Rebecca’s responsibilities as the Vitalize 360 Executive Director will include strategic leadership of the platform’s continued product development and market positioning, as well as oversight of operations, finances and membership growth.
